Plant vs Pig

Plant vs Pig is a restaurant and culture aiming to bring both vegans and meat eaters into setting which they both enjoy. The current culture between the two groups is very hostile with both opposing one and others views in a very strong manner. I aimed to challenge that with Plant vs Pig.

Using a tongue in cheek style of messaging and a fairly abrupt brand the culture strives to be relatable, fun and youthful which many current restaurant brands fail to achieve.

During the process of the brand built I wanted to challenge myself in one of my weakest areas, product photography. I set up a photography space and used pieces of string to balance elements of the burger to create a deconstructed burger stack style visual.

When determining the stylistic approach for the deliverables, it is imperative that the playful, tongue-in-cheek message remains clear across both packaging and social media content. Each of the two target audiences must find the message that resonates emotionally and effectively engages with them.

The final branding strategy sought to employ a dual color palette, subtly representing both target communities within this innovative concept. By utilizing both colours in diverse contexts, the brand achieves a consistent and visually engaging contrast across all materials.
